About RPM
RPM (Rapid Prompting Method) developed by Soma Mukhopadhyay, is a method of teaching that has proven extremely successful for neurodivergent individuals who have limited or unreliable speech abilities.
While this approach is primarily used with autistic students, it is suitable for any student who lacks a reliable means of communication, regardless of diagnosis.
How is RPM unique?
RPM isn’t just a spelling or communication method, it is a holistic teaching method that adapts to each student's individual motor readiness and sensory profile. It takes into consideration and focuses on balancing multiple channels of learning, meaning that spelling and communication are a byproduct of this teaching along with the development of many other life skills.
RPM equally educates
and empowers, aiming
to build each individuals
confidence in themselves
and their skills.
EVA is located on the
Mornington Peninsula.
Sessions hosted at EVA’s office are preferred, however where in-home or at school lessons are requested EVA is able to travel within 40km of the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.

No, they will be taught to read and write through the process of learning with Soma®RPM. While some students already have these skills coming into RPM, we do not presume everyone has them – we only presume that they have the ability to gain them.
